• Villa Marina is a paradise for nature lovers. It is surrounded by 3 hectares (7.4 acres) of groomed gardens planted with local hardwood, fruit plants, ferns, orchids and other native and exotic species.

• Needless to say, the biggest attraction is the sea: with almost 3 kilometers of secluded beachfront and its own island, Villa Marina offers guests their own exclusive beach just a few feet outside the gate of the house.

• You can take a walk in the 3.5 mile long beach, or take a horse ride up the hill to our native species plantation managed by The Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and Yale University.

• At dusk, just fall back into a meditative state watching the colors of the sky turn from blue to pink to orange to red as the sun sets over the green mountains at the oriental end of the bay.
